About the role

Technical Analyst

This position requires an active Top-Secret Clearance, a Secret Clearance may be considered.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to provide support for complex IT and cybersecurity projects within the Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force (AF) contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT operations, technology integration research, and cybersecurity practices, as well as extensive experience with DoD or Air Force enterprise infrastructure, governance, policies, and procedures. This position requires a candidate with proven expertise in managing and contributing to the integration of technology and cybersecurity solutions for large-scale projects within a DoD or similar federal environment. A strong understanding of cybersecurity practices will be highly beneficial in ensuring the success of these critical DoD projects.

  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Technical Analyst: Pay commensurate with experience.

Technical Analyst Responsibilities Include: 

  • Conduct technology integration research for complex DoD projects, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and best practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in overseeing IT and cybersecurity operations, ensuring successful execution of assigned projects and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective integration of IT and cybersecurity solutions, addressing any technical or security issues that may arise.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements in technology and cybersecurity solutions to enhance performance and operational efficiency within the DoD environment.
  • Assist with maintaining and supporting the DoD IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture, ensuring alignment with security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Technical Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • IAT Level II or higher certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including:
    • Technology integration research for complex IT and cybersecurity projects.
    • Experience with Air Force or DoD enterprise infrastructure, governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Required certification in Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology integration, and supporting DoD-specific policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with DoD and Air Force IT governance, policies, security standards, and cybersecurity practices.
  • A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices is highly beneficial, including risk management, vulnerability assessments, secure IT systems, and the ability to address security issues within a DoD or federal environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and security issues and recommend solutions to ensure project success.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel.
