Patient Services Coordinator - Day Shift - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Take on this highly visible role, responsible for serving as a liaison between patients/families and hospital staff to facilitate communications, address requests and resolve issues. Conduct investigations (including interviews) to fully understand patients’ needs and concerns, and recommend cost-effective solutions (e.g., referrals to appropriate departments). Advocate for patients and their families to ensure the delivery of top-notch care. Play a lead role in department-based initiatives, from the development of new policies and procedures, to the implementation of performance improvement activities. This is a high-visibility position that demands tremendous interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Criteria

  • Bilingual
  • Licensure as an NYS Notary Public
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and resolve patients’ issues  

  

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
  • Five Years of previous experience
