The Urology Group is searching for MA, LPN or RN to work as a Patient Medication Navigator in our Norwood office. This is an administrative position. The hours are full time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Summary: Responsible for Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic (APCAC) patients

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Handle APCAC referrals to the clinic and follow up to scheduled appointment
• Precertification for Prostate Cancer drugs
• Assist patient with Copay Assistance programs
• Follow patients in advanced prostate cancer clinic
• Assists patient with scheduling appointments, bloodwork, genetic testing, and scans (bone scan, CAT scan, PET, or MRI)
• Maintain Prostate Cancer database
• Maintain spreadsheets for Advanced Prostate Cancer Patients
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Completion of Medical Assistant Progam or Valid Ohio LPN or RN license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated, well organized and able to multitask. Must be able to work independently.
• Previous experience with Allscripts and EMR a plus.
