Associate Product Manager

As an Associate Product Manager you will use your analytical and critical thinking skills to execute on a growth and profitability strategy for your assigned region. In this role, you will enjoy the support of a highly cross-functional team while being involved in decision-making that has a direct impact on the success of our business. 

 

What You’ll Do:
• Responsible for executing the growth and profitability for assigned LOB or Region, including YoY growth targets, achieving our rate plan, and proactively identifying and addressing key concerns. Provides monitoring and surveillance of key initiatives and monitors progress and success. Elevates concerns and proposed solutions to Director/AVP of Product. 

• Reviews pricing, design features, and associated critical success factors such as distribution, marketing, underwriting and claims to make recommendations on opportunities or areas of improvement. Works collaboratively across divisions to incorporate expertise and knowledge into a holistic strategy for achieving company success. 

• Makes recommendations for development of product enhancements based on competitor, field, and client feedback.

• Works collaboratively on coordination and implementation of new products and product changes. Participates in product related internal and external training and education. 

• Leads cross-functional strategy teams and Growth/Profitability initiatives. Works closely with the Regional Field Executives to execute strategy.

• Basic understanding of all Property and Casualty lines of business offered. Specific expertise based on assigned LOB or Region. 

 

 

Who You Are:
•    Bachelor's degree.
•    Minimum four years industry experience
•    Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
•    Ability to effectively lead and influence cross functional teams
•    Ability to effectively manage high pressure situations
•    Strong negotiating skills
•    Actuarial experience and/or State Product Management experience is a plus

 

 

 

Salary for this position can range from $78,000 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $110,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
