Logan Regional Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Operations Coordinator that will provide administrative support to Hospitalist Teams, the Medical Director, and the MHN Director of Hospitalist Services.
Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitate and track key onboarding activities for new providers and team members.
- Serve as a liaison between hospitalist teams and the hospital medical staff office.
- Ensure credentialing and provider enrollment packets are complete and proactively follow up on missing documentation.
- Provide information and resources as needed.
- Communicate to the hospitalist team and maintain important team documents.
- Service as a Central Office liaison for provider enrollment, billing, payroll, and compliance teams.
- Coordinate date/time of monthly site review and participate with updates and follow up on action items.
- Perform a monthly review of outstanding hospital account receivable and escalate issues related to unpaid invoices to the MHN Director of Hospitalist Services.
- Support the Medical Director and Scheduling Director
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly meetings, both within the hospitalist team and with hospital leadership, including scheduling, agenda, room/material facilitation, and meeting minutes.
- Assist hospitalist team with death certificates, home health, DRG worksheets, and other forms completion.
- Identify and problem-solve day-to-day site operation issues, including matters related to payroll, credentialing, human resources, recruiting, etc.
- Ensures coordination and facilitation of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers onboarding/ orientation requirements and training.
- Coordinate onsite physician interviews with hospital leadership.
- All other duties as assigned by the MHN Director of Hospitalist Services.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma/ GED required and Junior College/ Technical School preferred; appropriate experience may be substituted for education requirements.
Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience preferred.
Certification/ Skills: Clerical skills required.
