Technical Aide - Radiology-Diagnostic

Overview

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s (DHMC) Radiology-Diagnostic department at our Lebanon, NH campus has openings for a Technical Aide.

 

The Technical Aide supports the daily operations of the imaging department and helps ensure patients, technologists, and radiologists have an efficient and safe workflow.  This is an entry-level role and is a great pathway into careers such as Radiologic Technologist, nursing, or other allied health professions.  

 

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, day-shift position.  

Responsibilities

Performs limited duties of the receptionist and file clerk, such as answering telephones and maintaining departmental files.

Restocks supplies in examination rooms and the core area. Maintains a clean and safe environment.

Provides for patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Makes basic observations and reports information to staff. Handles body fluids using universal precautions. Assists in lifting, positioning, and ambulating patients.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with good interpersonal skills.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• BLS required at hire.
