We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to support our Sales team.
Position Summary
As a Business Development Manager you will serve as the front line sales interaction with new clients at Coalfire. You will bring clients through the entire deal life cycle (prospect, qualify, partner with service experts to define work, propose solutions, negotiate terms, and close the deal). In this position you will serve as a key liaison between our clients and key internal stakeholders on every deal (delivery experts, legal, pre-sales, etc). This is a fast paced role that requires strong organization and communication skills along with a drive to meet and exceed goals. Coalfire is rapidly growing and targeting hungry individuals who are looking develop a career in Cybersecurity and Compliance sales.

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $40,000 to $69,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.

What You'll Do
- Respond to in-bound sales leads to qualify and generate new business opportunities
- Prospect for new business targets via out-bound campaigns
- Expand Coalfire’s relationship by addressing broader client security needs through additional Coalfire service sales
- Lead clients and Coalfire delivery staff through a documented sales process from opportunity identification through closed sales and implementation start
- Develop and deliver accurate and high-quality statements of work for all Coalfire service sales
- Understand your client’s business; establish account plans for your most strategic accounts including situation, near term objectives, two-year revenue plan, etc.
- Maintain and communicate an organized understanding of your accounts, opportunities, and day-to-day activities
- Deliver accurate forecasts to monthly and quarterly goals
- Build your knowledge of your client’s and Coalfire’s industry
- Collaborate with Coalfire delivery staff to facilitate high quality delivery and uncover opportunities for additional clients
What You'll Bring
- 1-3 years of experience with inside sales or account management in a B2B sales environment
- Proficiency with sales tools and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional services experience
- Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Cybersecurity experience preferred
- IT/Networking experience preferred
