The impact you’ll make
Lam Research is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Manager of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to lead and evolve our global ERG ecosystem. This role will elevate ERGs from community-based networks to business-aligned capability builders that strengthen inclusion, engagement, leadership development, and talent outcomes. This leader will serve as a connector across regions, functions, and leadership, ensuring ERGs are globally aligned, regionally relevant, and deeply integrated into Lam’s culture and growth strategy.
What you’ll do
ERG Strategy & Governance
- Reimagine a global ERG strategy aligned to Lam’s Inclusion & Diversity and talent priorities.
- Review and update governance, standards, and operating rhythms to ensure consistency, scalability, and impact.
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and ERG leads to align ERG priorities with enterprise goals.
- Evolve ERGs into platforms that support leadership development, mentoring, and capability building.
Program Leadership & Elevation
- Drive the modernization and elevation of ERGs, from engagement forums to high-impact talent and culture accelerators.
- Design and scale global ERG programs (e.g., leadership experiences, speaker series, mentoring, community impact).
- Ensure ERGs contribute to key initiatives such as onboarding, career development, and employee engagement.
Global Connectivity & Community Building
- Serve as the central connector across ERGs, regions, and business units.
- Build strong partnerships with regional leaders to ensure cultural relevance and local activation.
- Foster collaboration across ERGs to drive cross-community impact and shared learning.
Leader Enablement & Capability Building
- Coach and support ERG leaders with tools, frameworks, and development opportunities.
- Create playbooks, toolkits, and training to strengthen ERG leadership effectiveness.
- Position ERG leadership as a development pathway for high-potential talent.

Measurement & Impact
- Define and track KPIs tied to engagement, retention, internal mobility, and leadership development.
- Leverage data and insights to continuously improve ERG effectiveness and demonstrate business value.
- Provide executive-level reporting and storytelling on ERG impact.
Executive & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with executive sponsors to strengthen visibility, advocacy, and accountability.
- Prepare materials and insights for senior leadership to support ERG initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement strategies.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 15+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or equivalent experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Belonging, or related fields
- Proven experience leading or scaling ERG or community-based programs in a global organization
- Experience working across regions, cultures, and complex stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
