Purpose:

The Director, Information Security is a key leadership role within the organization, responsible for supporting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in maintaining and advancing the organization's cybersecurity strategies, operations, and programs. The Director, Information Security will oversee the daily management of security governance and identity and access management and will play a pivotal role in supporting and collaborating with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to oversee and enhance the company’s cybersecurity posture.  This role is directly responsible for overseeing the strategy, architecture, and operations of the enterprise IAM program, ensuring secure and efficient management of enterprise identities across the organization. This role will also partner with the CISO as a key leader within the organization and will be expected to drive continuous improvement in the security posture of FHLBI and the Information Security program. This role combines technical expertise and execution with leadership skills to drive IAM and governance initiatives and manage the assigned personnel. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing and managing the company's information security program, and will be instrumental in the development and operational implementation of information security strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect the company's assets

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist the CISO in formulating and executing the organization's information security strategy, policies, and programs.

• Lead and manage the IAM and security governance program teams, ensuring the timely execution of processes and mitigation of associated risks.

• Develop and implement security processes and technologies to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to uphold the highest standards of data protection and governance.
