As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. Pay Rate: $28.75 / Hour

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
