We have an exceptional opportunity for a Computer Network Operations (CNO)/Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (EA) Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will be part of a passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting full spectrum cyber operations and providing thought leadership to shape future operations.  

As the CACI DNEA SME, you will perform as our Lead Analyst responsible for assisting in growing CACI’s cyber operations and Next Generation Analyst portfolio.  You will help develop solutions and assist in shaping requirements to solve our customers’ CNO/DNEA challenges by:

  • Providing insights and expertise regarding CNO mission execution

  • Recommending improvements to CNO mission execution

  • Identifying strengths & benefits of recommendations for improving mission outcomes

  • Leading tradecraft development and mentoring other exploitation analysts

  • Anticipating emerging technology, policy, and regulation impacts on mission operations and providing strategies, guidelines, and processes to mitigate risk

  • Author executive level briefings and point papers

What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Lead Digital Network Exploitation Analyst, you will conduct and lead others in evaluating target opportunities using all source data to understand and map target networks, and to assist in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans. You will analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels up and down the OSI network stack and bring a solid understanding of logical/physical IP core infrastructure, communication devices and how they connect to networks, and the traffic movements in a network. And you’ll be involved in developing new tradecraft needed to perform this analysis as technologies evolve.

You’ll be part of a team, working together with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise. You’ll apply your innate curiosity and analytical talent to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, then query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights. You will distill, document, contextualize and share your findings--including any new tradecraft that you develop--with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required to start.

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science. Degree in related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if programs contain a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics). Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.

  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience performing as a leader or project manager within the areas of computer or information systems design, development, and/or analysis, including engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration. 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience writing white papers and developing presentations

  • Experience in either DoD or IC organizations conducting cyber operations

  • Working knowledge of and ability to assist others in the use of CNO tools & capabilities to support process improvement

  • Ability to apply advanced cybersecurity, information assurance, and communication technology principles, theories, and concepts contributing to the development of innovative CNO principles and ideas
