About the role:
We are looking for a passionate payroll professional to join the global payroll team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of the paychecks, tax statements, and filings.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin metro, California, Chicago metro, Connecticut, Dallas metro, Denver metro, Houston metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and Washington DC metro. This position requires working in CST or EST hours.

In this role, you will:
- Utilize ADP WorkForceNow, Workday Payroll, and Cloudpay for end-to-end processing of semi-monthly payrolls in North America
- Reconcile input source files to the payroll register to ensure accuracy
- Research and resolve jurisdiction tax issues for Canada, Mexico, and U.S.
- Implement legislative tax changes for your assigned countries
- Prepare prior quarter adjustments, W-2 amendments, and tax filings
- Manage the registration process for new jurisdictions and develop a tracking system for incoming tax notices
- Research and resolve employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Drive process improvements and prepare standard operating procedures as needed
- Partner with third-party vendors on inbound/outbound payroll files

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 3-5 years of U.S. payroll tax experience
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large data sets and draw meaningful insights
- Strong partnership and ability to collaborate with teams across the organization
- Ability to work without supervision and take initiative
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and reasoning skills
An ideal candidate also has:
- Prior experience with Workday payroll, ADP and Workday timekeeping
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work remotely without close supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
