This is a remote opportunity that can be home based anywhere in the United States.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides strategic oversight and direction for end-to-end development and implementation of ECHO Superhub training and ongoing success of replicating partners including ongoing technical assistance.
- Develop and implement an ECHO Hub training curriculum and plan that incorporates adult learning expertise to ensure learner success and achievement of learning objectives.
- Works closely with Sr. Director, ECHO and PS pillar leadership to inform and execute strategy to amplify our impact through establishing ACS ECHO Hubs domestically and globally that address priorities across the cancer continuum.
- Oversees and manages budget resources working in collaboration with PS Business Operations, Finance, and others.
- In partnership with Sr. Director, ECHO contributes to fundraising goals through development of ECHO Superhub plans that advance organizational goals and are of interest to a broad range of donors.
- Provides leadership for the data and evaluation strategy for ECHO Superhub initiatives, including donor-supported activities, tracking of superhub key performance indicators in collaboration with the patient support data and reporting team.
- Provides leadership to workgroups, committees, internal, and external stakeholders that support the Patient Support Pillar’s priorities and goals.
- Develop programs, activities, and recommendations that utilize the ECHO model to address the needs of underserved populations with the goal of the elimination of cancer-related disparities in prevention, early detection, treatment and outcomes.
- Collaborates with Communications and Marketing to develop messages and media, brand awareness, and communication strategies.
- Assignments are in the form of broad goals or areas of responsibility. There is considerable latitude for decision making. Significant independent action and judgment are required.
- Develop and lead ongoing staff training on the ECHO model and successful execution of ECHO initiatives. Supervise and provide direction to staff as assigned or developed as a part of this role.
- Collaborate with ECHO Directors on the development and implementation of internal ECHO programs and provide support as requested.
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, health programming, social work, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations and implementation of community-based health initiatives, with a high-preference for applicants who have worked in the field of adult learning, public health, cancer control, and have experience with tele-mentoring models such as Project ECHO.
- At least five years of experience in education, public health or other non-profit programming implementation. Experience working across the enterprise to achieve organizational mission goals.
