Overview
The Team Lead within the Originations department is responsible for assisting funders, underwriters and the team supervisor through coaching, instructions, additional training, and complex issues. We are looking for a subject matter expert who can drive processes across the team and communicate with associates and dealers while ensuring that all transactions are in accordance with state and federal regulations along with company policy and procedures. We are relentless in our pursuit to get better every day and look for people that can help us do that.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, undergraduate degree preferred
- 1+ years of funding, underwriting, or sales experience, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong understanding of auto loan contracts and supporting documentation
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Sound business judgment and an ability to learn on the fly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Clear verbal and written communications, customer service, time management, and leadership skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Must have computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Outlook
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
