Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Remote Senior Accountant.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

For those located in Washington State, the following salary range applies: $67,048.80 - $92,514.24

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (EST)

Minimum Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Required: 1 year of experience as an Accountant

• CPA Preferred

• Must display excellent verbal and written communication skills, and expertise in Excel and Word

Position Overview:

Prepare, analyze, research, and adjust financial statements for management presentation. Creates relevant work papers, schedules, and reconciliations. Review and comprehend financial indicators and results of operations, significant operational statistics, variances from budget and historical results. Research technical accounting and financial reporting issues, and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects. This position assists in preparation and coordination of year-end audits.
