Description
The Manufacturing Team Lead position is responsible for the safety and productivity of all employees on their assigned production team. Additionally, the Team Lead position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a safe and timely manner and within all quality parameters.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• General computer proficiency.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and desire for quality.
• A team-oriented personality.
• Ability to communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Prior leadership experience.
Shifts Available:
• Monday through Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm. May be asked to arrive early or stay late.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Provide shift-focused supervision to the assigned team.
• Ensure the safety and productivity of the assigned production team.
• Enforce all safety and processing procedures.
• Communicate in a professional manner with assigned team to routinely assure that all understand the day’s production schedule, key issues, and challenges.
• Consistently educate, train, and work with assigned team to achieve production goals.
• Enable effective communication between management and operators.
• Train new employees and coach existing employees.
• Fully cross trained in all production processes in assigned department.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
• Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues.
• Assure daily documentation regarding production, waste, maintenance issues, safety issues, employee issues and any other incidents. Report to Management.
• Keep work environment clean, safe and positive.
• Keep an open and honest communication flow with Manufacturing Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Production
Manager, and Safety Manager.
• Provide supervision to the production of products assuring the implementation and monitoring of good manufacturing practices, quality and safety standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Department Supervisor or Manager.
