Rest Area Technician – Sunset Springs

Pay Rate: $18.00

For every 100 hours worked, you will receive a 1% (one percent) wage increase. It is cumulative rather than annual, so if you have worked 125 hours by the end of December, that 25 hours goes forward toward your next 100 hours. 

At the end of each month, we review a report of hours worked to date. If you hit or exceed 100 hours within the month, you will have a wage increase effective the first of the following month.

The Rest Area Technician is a fill-in position and is not scheduled to work regular hours but is available to work as needed; rest areas are staffed every day of the year, and fill-in employees are frequently scheduled to work weekends and holidays.

This position performs custodial, groundskeeping, maintenance, and security tasks to provide clean and safe restrooms, buildings, roadways, and grounds for rest area visitors.
