Intern - Fire Protection Designer

How you will contribute:
Responsibilities include designing a variety of piping systems in accordance with applicable codes within the scope of the contract; conforming piping arrangements to meet standard product or materials usage; assisting with representing the Company in matters of project coordination, scheduling, change requests, and technical assistance; obtaining all necessary approvals and reviews of project design data; maintaining organized records of active projects; assisting the estimating and other design personnel with technical interpretation as needed; and preparing stock list in standard Company format.
What you need to qualify:
Prior experience working in AutoCAD and strong math and analytical skills is preferred. Candidates should be currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful.
