Rehabilitation Services Technician (Rehab-Riley Full-time)

Full time position Monday through Friday with occasional weekends & holidays. The rehab tech works to assist/support occupational, physical and speech therapists in their roles of direct patient care in the acute hospital and acute rehabilitation settings. The tech will also help with cleaning and distributing equipment, assisting with specialized exams, organizing supplies and other department tasks.

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within 6 months of hire. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Rehab experience preferred.
• Requires familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures.
