As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor with the Tapes and Medical Technology Team, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership
• Implementing and ensuring continuous improvements in safety, employee engagement, productivity, and quality
• Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, production planning and plant engineering, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization
• Leading and continually developing self and others at multiple levels of the organization through supervision, providing recognition, policy administration, continuous coaching for improvement and participation in hiring processes
• Representing plant leadership team through driving initiatives across the plant, including but not limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call and serving as a primary plant management representative
• Planning daily work schedules, determining priorities, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes to meet specific daily production requirements.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment 
• Three (3) years previous supervisory and/or leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
• Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment and influencing higher levels of the organization
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Manufacturing Supervisors
• Experience leading and coaching the tier management process
• Leading, coaching, and sponsoring continuous improvement projects and / or Kaizen experience
• Knowledge of computer programs and Solventum corporate systems relevant to Plant Operations
