Compensation

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings of $73000 / year including bonus. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

 

About the Program

The Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits NextGen Leadership Program (NGLP) is a two-year, rotational program sponsored by Amy Kickham, CHRO. NGLP is designed to develop the next generation of leaders within the largest wine and spirits distributor in the U.S. As a NextGen Leadership Program associate, you will gain hands-on experience through rotational assignments across multiple functions. In addition, associates within the program benefit from intensive & ongoing training, leadership development, mentoring, and networking opportunities—including presentations to some of our company’s most senior executives.

 

What to Expect from NGLP

  • Rotate across four, six-month core functions, taking on leadership assignments and projects.
  • Learn the processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experience necessary to deliver value to the organization.
  • Gain an understanding on how to define a problem, scope a project, determine key deliverables, identify challenges, anticipate outcomes, and deliver tangible business benefits.
  • Develop essential traits in decision making, teamwork, critical thinking, dealing with ambiguity, and problem solving.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and building of a national peer network.

 

NGLP Sample Rotations

  • Commercial Strategy – Analyze market trends, customer insights, & competitive dynamics to support strategic initiatives that drive growth and optimize commercial performance.
  • Trade Development – Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to execute brand strategies, optimize promotional programs, and drive market share growth through data-driven trade initiatives.
  • Supply Chain/Operations – Optimize logistics, inventory, & supplier operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support seamless product flow.
  • Finance – Support budgeting, forecasting, & financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Transformation – Support enterprise-wide change initiatives by leveraging data, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and business agility.

 

NGLP Associate Qualifications

  • Must be a graduating senior up to 2 years post-graduation
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Preferred degrees include but are not limited to: Business Administration/Management., Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a multi-disciplinary program.
