Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philadelphia, PA Time Includes a 1-hour unpaid break
We are seeking candidates with Litigation Paralegal experience, specifically in Personal Injury law. Our preference is for candidates who have worked with firms in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, as familiarity with the litigation laws in these states is essential.
The selected candidate will join our Litigation team within the Personal Injury department and may also provide support for Employment Litigation cases. Our litigation attorneys work across both departments, and paralegals in these areas need assistance in managing cases from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of personal injury and employment attorneys and paralegals to manage all case phases, from initial consultations through to settlement discussions.
Conduct client interviews, collect critical documents and evidence, and maintain well-organized case files.
Perform detailed legal research, analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations to support case strategy and achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
Prepare, review, and assist in the preparation of key legal documents, ensuring large volumes of case files are accurately managed and well-organized.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings to ensure efficient case progression, maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
Manage court filings efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements.
Serve as a main point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and ensuring the timely completion of necessary documentation.
Support attorneys and paralegals in trial preparation, including organizing trial binders and exhibits.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of paralegal experience in litigation, with a preference for candidates with personal injury law experience.
Familiarity with court filing procedures in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Experience with case management systems such as Litify or Salesforce is a plus.
Knowledge of Spanish is a bonus, but not required.
