Join Our Child Development Center Team as an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher!

 

Are you passionate about working with infants and toddlers?  Do you have a knack for creating a fun and engaging learning environment?  If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Indian River State College is looking for an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher for its Child Development Center located on its Massey Campus in Fort Pierce.  As a lead teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development. You will work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and care.

 

Our ideal candidate has a degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Special Education or a related field and at least 2 years of related work experience in the child care industry, specifically working with infants and toddlers. You should be knowledgeable about child development, early childhood education and have a passion for creating a positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:

  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Early Special Education with two (2) years of proven work experience in the child care industry;
  • Proven work experience documenting an in-depth knowledge of Child Development and Early Childhood Education and with CDA requirements and training;
  • Computer literacy with experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications;
  • Must possess organizational, interpersonal, supervisory, and human relations skills and abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population;
  • Dynamic self-starter capable of communicating professionally
