Manager, Project Management - Product Ops, Culture & Engagement

Capital One's Finance Product and Data Solutions (FPDS) is embedded within Global Finance. Finance Product manages a portfolio of products that support Capital One's broader Finance organization and the enterprise at large, transforming the way we do business and support business-critical capabilities. The Finance Product Operations team sits under the Finance Product umbrella, leading core initiatives to enable Finance Product to deliver meaningful outcomes for Finance associates.  

The Finance Product Operations team is seeking a passionate and driven Culture & Engagement Project Manager to lead a key workstream focused on building a thriving, inclusive, and high-performing culture across our Finance Product organization. This role will partner closely with leaders across Finance Product and within FPDS to design, plan, and execute engagement strategies, team-wide events, and associate development initiatives that support our people and foster a strong sense of community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of team-wide events, offsites, and meetings that drive connection, alignment, and fun across the product organization

  • Design and manage engagement initiatives that reflect our values and promote associate well-being, inclusion, and connection

  • Promote and lead team-wide recognition programs that celebrate accomplishments, milestones, and cultural contributions

  • Monitor associate survey results, identify trends and insights, and partner with leaders to drive actions that continuously improve engagement and culture

  • Use feedback from associates to inform and evolve culture, development, and engagement strategies

  • Develop and maintain a calendar of team development opportunities, including trainings, workshops, and learning sessions

  • Track and report on engagement and development efforts to understand impact and identify areas for continuous improvement

  • Proactively identify new opportunities to support the growth and development of associates across our Product teams

  • Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., HR, DIB, Learning & Development) to align on programs and scale best practices

  • Serve as a culture ambassador—championing values, team norms, celebrating wins, and helping leaders connect with their teams in meaningful ways

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in program or project management, ideally related to culture, employee experience, or internal communications

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Confident facilitator and communicator who thrives in building relationships across all levels

  • Creative thinker who’s passionate about associate experience and brings energy and empathy to their work

  • Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work

  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for fostering a people-first culture

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management OR Process Management OR Chief of Staff OR a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree

  • 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a Finance organization

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
