PfizerAbout the role
Why Patients Need You
Pfizer’s purpose is to deliver breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. Research and Development is at the heart of fulfilling Pfizer’s purpose as we work to translate advanced science and technologies into the therapies and vaccines that matter most. Whether you are in the discovery sciences, ensuring drug safety and efficacy or supporting clinical trials, you will apply cutting edge design and process development capabilities to accelerate and bring the best-in-class medicines to patients around the world.
What You Will Achieve
Join our multidisciplinary drug product analytics team as a Senior Associate Scientist, where you will play a pivotal role in forensic analysis and materials characterization. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience with a wide array of experimental techniques, including various forms of microscopy (optical, electron, and x-ray), spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman, and NIR), sample isolation, particle and foreign material characterization, and controlled substance handling.
Beyond technical training, you will develop expertise in scientific literature review, interdisciplinary communication (both oral and written), and collaborative decision-making under time constraints. As a recognized technical expert, you will contribute significantly to diverse programs and projects spanning drug substance crystallization, drug product formulation, and manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
How You Will Achieve It
Collaborate closely with senior scientists to learn, established workflows, best practices, effective documentation methods for investigations.
Work alongside subject matter experts to expand technical and scientific knowledge in areas such as, particle sizing and characterization, crystal form stability, amorphous solid dispersion formulation, dissolution assessments.
Contribute to the characterization of innovative drug products in a dynamic environment that supports professional growth.
