At our Competence Center for Software and Services, we are at the forefront of the digital transformation of buildings. Our mission is to develop and scale NEXOSPACE, our innovative suite of IoT services that makes buildings smarter, more efficient, and future-proof. We are a growing international team based in Portugal, Germany, and Bulgaria, dedicated to driving the success of our global customers.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure, enabling our teams to deliver cutting-edge IoT solutions that have a real-world impact. If you thrive on automating, securing, and scaling complex cloud systems, we want you on our team.

This team gets it done because:

• We secure and scale our IoT Platform: We develop, deploy, and operate our Java Spring Boot microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring our platform is robust, secure, and ready for global scale.
• We build the engine of innovation: We design, implement, and own our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, empowering our developers to ship high-quality code faster and more reliably.
• We master the cloud with code: We architect and manage our Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep or Pulumi. We don't just maintain systems; we build them from the ground up.
• We drive automation and security: We champion security and automation, proactively identifying opportunities to improve our development lifecycle, eliminate manual work, and harden our systems against modern cybersecurity threats.
• We collaborate and innovate: We work closely with talented, cross-functional teams of software engineers to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and bring new digital services to life.
• We value knowledge sharing: We have frequent showcase sessions where we share with each other and with other teams the latest ideas, experiences and developments.
