Dinsmore is seeking a highly skilled and organized Immigration Paralegal at our Cincinnati, OH location to support our attorneys and corporate clients with business immigration matters. This role focuses on employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions and requires a deep understanding of U.S. business immigration laws, policies, and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a high volume of cases with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications
• Assist in drafting and reviewing support letters, forms, and related documentation
• Coordinate and communicate with corporate clients and foreign nationals regarding case status, required documents, and timelines
• Conduct research on immigration regulations and case strategy
• Maintain accurate case records and use case management software
• Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on case progress
• Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and audit requests under attorney supervision
• Prepare case summaries and status reports for clients
• Support attorneys during client consultations and compliance assessments
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of corporate/business immigration experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• In-depth knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and DOS processes and procedures
• Familiarity with immigration case management software
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle high volume efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
