As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver PT in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail or mall location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns or hazards.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders if required.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned by supervision or management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
