Sr Associate Logistics

Responsibilities

• Execute delivery and logistics activities in a position that will be aligned by mode  ensuring on time shipment from the plants and on time delivery to the customer. 

• Coordinate and follow-up the shipments from loading at the plants till arrival at the final place of delivery by keeping daily contacts with the freight forwarders

• You will be responsible for day to day SAP transactions in addition to resolving any transportation delays, equipment challenges or other issues impacting on time delivery to the customer

• This position will interface with their counterpart in the order management team to meet productivity and quality metrics ensuring a seamless order-to-deliver process resulting in excellent customer service

Qualifications

• 1-3 years export/import transportation experience
• Fluent English
• Italian languange knowledge is an advantage
• SAP knowledge
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Well organized and able to work independently and under pressure
• Solution-oriented mindset
