Director PMO

Job Description

We are seeking a Director of PMO to join our team at Sixt Rent a Car LLC. The Director of PMO will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's Project Management Office (PMO) function and ensure that the PMO is aligned with the company's overall strategy and business objectives. You will be responsible that project delivery is consistent with quality, time, and budget constraints. The position will report to the Head of Corporate Development and work closely with the VP of Corporate Development/ FP&A and other members of the senior management team.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

· Lead the PMO function, ensuring effective delivery of projects across the company, including managing project risks, issues, and dependencies

· Develop and maintain the project management methodology, governance, and standards across the organization

· Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives, and develop project portfolios that align with the company's strategy and business objectives

· Ensure that the PMO function provides accurate and timely reporting on project status, risks, and issues, to senior leadership and stakeholders

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, and foster a culture of collaboration and partnership

· Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the PMO function, through regular review of performance metrics and analysis of feedback from stakeholders

· Champion the adoption of project management best practices and principles across the organization, and provide training and coaching to project managers and team members as needed

Qualifications

Your qualities:

· Excellent communication skills: ability to present complex assessments in a consolidated, structured format to Sr. Leadership and other stakeholders

· Strong analytical skills and numerical thinking with strong data interpretation capabilities

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, engineering, or computer science (Master’s/ MBA preferred)

· At least 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience managing a PMO function in a large organization

· High proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

· PMP or other relevant certification is a plus

· Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
