Job Description:

The IDA Business is a U.S. Treasury function and manages the Schwab IDA arrangement on a stand-alone basis, working with 2nd line to identify, measure and manage risk. The role is a key contributor to developing reporting and analytics package for the IDA business and monitors its performance.

This position provides a range of strategic advice, analysis and to support the business. Proactively manages senior relationships in order to provide seasoned and deep business insights, decision support and guidance and works closely with various stakeholders and team members as required. The ideal candidate will provide oversite and lead management of IDA Deposits while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals and support project/initiatives and achieve strong business results.

Depth & Scope:

  • Gathers and reports on financial results vs. plans on an ongoing basis, providing evaluation and interpretation through an in-depth understanding of the business
  • Leads development and supports the achievement of financial objectives for assigned business line(s)
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with business line management
  • Provides leadership, coaching, counseling and guidance to staff
  • Develops, assigns and monitors plans to ensure completion of goals and objectives
  • Resolves escalated issues and problems by conferring with staff, other internal departments, outside contractors and others as necessary


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics or Master's degree in Finance
  • 7+ years' experience required
  • 7+ years' of Treasury experience (preferred)
