Duties and Responsibilities
This position supports the Chief, Deputy Chief and Section Managers in the Bureau of Accounting. The incumbent will have daily administrative responsibilities of returning unidentifiable customer checks, routing mail and correspondence, mailing warrants, and answering telephone inquiries for the bureau. The selected applicant prepares all paperwork for personnel actions for the bureau such as position descriptions, advertisements, hiring/separation paperwork, and classification packages. This position also procures materials, supplies and equipment for the bureau, and maintains records and files in the interest of the bureau. The incumbent will need to utilize the state's procurement and invoice processing system (MyFloridaMarketPlace) for creating purchase requisitions and payment of invoices. Other duties include preparation of and tracking informational spreadsheets, scanning documents, performing arithmetic calculations, scheduling group meeting in Outlook calendar, and other administrative functions.

Note
Preference will be given to applicants with experience providing customer service, writing and composing correspondence, reviewing and proofreading documents, and using Excel.
