The Kodiak program is looking to fill an Administration Technician position located in Herndon, VA, supporting a dynamic business office. The successful candidate will perform a combination of admin technician and case management tasks. This position will support analytical and digital divisions, and assist with applications that support case management tasks, which may include providing process improvements needed to execute case management tasks more consistently and efficiently. The role will, from time to time, include processing incoming and outgoing mail, in accordance with strict policies and procedures, as well as perform other tasks such as document scanning, interacting with case managers, and other office tasks and duties, as required. The successful candidate will be required to electronically review a subset of newly processed documents; identify any possible duplicates in the repository; review metadata and images relating to the documents that will aide in identifying potential duplications; and record case management decisions in the database system. Candidate will also coordinate intra- and inter-organizational referrals. Must be willing to learn and to provide process improvement ideas that will enhance the performance of the team.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficiency in on-line tools and desktop applications such as, MS Word, Excel, and Access, and other required systems, in order to be able to perform the duties

  • Must have strong skills in 'attention to detail' to ensure that case files are recorded and tracked accurately

  • Strong work ethic; organizational and time management skills

  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and management

  • Must have strong customer service skills to maintain effective working relationships at all customer levels as well as the ability to develop good rapport with outside liaisons

  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment

  • Provide back-up support to other members of the team for coverage and opening and closing as required

  • Ability to handle multi-tasking priorities, as well as adapt to changing work requirements

  • Must have an understanding of security requirements and follow program guidelines/procedures

  • Willing to learn and provide process improvement solutions/ideas

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure coverage between 7am to 6 pm

 Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the intelligence community

Clearance Requirement- TS/SCI with poly - Must be transferable to our customer

Education:

A bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 3 years of specialized experience. In addition, a master's degree is equivalent to 2 years of specialized experience (5 yrs. total).

Position requires candidates to have a minimum of 6 full years of experience, specific to the skill.
