Driver Helper

GENERAL PURPOSE

Assist drivers in unloading product and may service stores, fuel trucks, clean trucks, and perform other related duties.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist drivers in unloading product

· Perform general service such as fueling trucks, cleaning trucks

· Perform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Less than High School Diploma or equivalent

· Work experience in transportation or distribution area preferred

· Certification and/or License – N/A

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Able to work safely

· Able to use equipment needed for the job

· Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills)

· Able to follow directions

· Able to interpret and apply company policies

· Able to perform duties under general supervision

· Able to follow through on day-to-day responsibilities

· Able to be punctual

· Must be able to read, write and speak English
