Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or other fast-paced operational environment with increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of fostering a positive work environment and driving employee growth.
- Ability to think strategically and act proactively to address team and department needs and challenges.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Intermediate computer and technology skills
Essential Functions
- Attendance during scheduled work hours is an essential function of the job.
- Promote a positive work culture that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate daily production, material flow, and workflow to meet schedule, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to production associates and material handlers.
- Adjust work plans in response to changing priorities, staffing levels, or production issues.
- Make day-to-day operational decisions regarding work assignments, staffing allocation, material flow, and production priorities within established guidelines
- Identify and communicate scheduling risks or concerns to production leadership.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production documentation and records.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align team goals with organizational objectives and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Supports onboarding and training of new employees and reinforces standard work practices
- Provides work direction and coordination for production associates and material handlers
- Communicates department priorities, operational changes, and performance expectations to team members
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the department and organization.
- Support and perform other operational activities as necessary.
