Maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear explanations of problems, business justifications, customer impact, and definitions of success. Collaborate with other Platform Product Managers to provide a unified roadmap, considering cross-team dependencies.
  • Success Metrics: Define product success metrics and work with engineering to ensure they are measurable and relevant to guide platform improvements.
  • Launch Management: Plan and manage the launch of new capabilities, ensuring that all criteria are met, timelines are communicated, and necessary tasks are completed. For large, complex rollouts, partner with an Engineering Program Manager to manage the process.
  • Communication: Lead communication efforts for product launches, roadmap updates, and urgent notifications. Collaborate with documentation teams to ensure clear and valuable content is provided to guide self-service platform usage.
  • Evangelization: Promote platform achievements and deliverables to drive awareness, adoption, and value among stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Participate in vendor selection and evaluation processes.
