Job Description

Turner & Townsend are looking for a Portfolio Cost Manager to support a high-tech Client on their Data Center projects across North America and LATAM regions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the portfolio cost report and ensure important cost information is up-to-date: maintaining cost benchmarking database, flagging early issues and forecasting future cashflows.
• Monitor the portfolio delivery pipeline and drive the funding requests for projects: developing budget estimates, identifying cost drivers and producing the consequential report.
• Evaluate fee proposals and change orders submitted by the project management team: supporting negotiations and achieving savings.
• Perform control measures and monitor project financial health: checking available budget, committed POs, WBS code selection, owner contingency and cashflow to ensure accuracy.
• Provide monthly and quarterly leadership reports: compiling large sets of data and presenting high-level metrics in a simple, accessible way.
• Comply with the required submission, verification and approval procedures: identifying different stakeholders and navigating Client’s multiple internal platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel skills with formulas, charts and presentations. 
• Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of performance data.
• Minimum of 5 years cost or estimate experience on Data Center projects.
• Previously working with corporate real estate and/or high-tech clients.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
