Job Description

AECOM/Hunt has an opportunity for an Assistant Construction Project Manager for our exciting construction project at the Pittsburgh International Airport.

  • May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.
  • Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
  • Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor.
  • Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training.
  • Employee handles some unusual situations independently.  
  • May interface with design team.
  • May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
  • May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
  • Assists with and monitors change orders.
  • May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting.
  • Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
  • Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
  • Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • BS Construction Management and 2 years of demonstrated experience working in the field of construction or demonstrated equivalency and/ or education.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience with building construction, electrical substations and underground electrical distribution.
  • Airport experience.
  • Experience in scheduling and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience with change orders, RFI, RFP, drawings, invoicing and other construction related documentation.
  • Experience with Blue Beam and Primavera P6.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • OSHA 10.
  • Offered rate of compensation Pittsburgh, PA will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.  The hourly range for this position is $29.36 - $54.31/hourly.
