The Sourcing Buyer – Spare Parts & Indirect position is responsible for leading and executing sourcing initiatives related to indirect materials and provides strategic purchasing support for the After Sales Unit (ASU) spare part and the Regional Distribution Center, (RDC). This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to ensure the effective procurement and management of goods and services.

Job Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement
- Leads and executes sourcing projects in coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams as needed.
- Solicits quotations from existing and potential suppliers, ensuring the use of current technical documentation in RFQ processes and coordinates technical questions between suppliers and stakeholders.
- Negotiates minor commercial terms and assist indirect material sourcing buyers in complex negotiations.
- Executes sourcing and purchasing strategies for indirect material request (CAPEX, etc.).
- Collaborates with global sourcing counterparts to align on sourcing initiatives and share best practices.
- Coordinates supplier visits to Busch facilities and arranges site visits to supplier locations as needed.
- SAP ERP Data Management
- Maintains vendor and material master data in the ERP system, including contracts, credentials, pricing, lead times, and order quantities, etc.
- Enters initial part pricing and maintains price changes within the SAP ERP system.
- Reviews the Purchase Price Variance (PPV) report monthly to explain or correct variances as needed to ensure correct pricing.
- Update pricing for open purchase orders as needed.
- Partners with Strategic Purchasing and Planning teams to ensure accurate and timely updates to procurement master data for effective sourcing.
- Provides direction to the ASU and RDC team on mass data updates and centralized reporting needs.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Acts in an advisory capacity to identify and implement systematic solutions for operational issues.
- Participates in and/or leads continuous improvement initiatives focused on data accuracy and sourcing efficiency.
- Tracks, reports, and communicates the status of key initiatives and sourcing activities.
- Supplier Evaluation & Compliance
- Leads the annual supplier evaluation process for spare parts vendors, ensuring performance and compliance standards are met.
- Follows Global Sourcing and Busch Manufacturing processes and procedures regarding above responsibilities and aids in the development of internal process improvements
Required Experience
- 5 years of purchasing experience of a tactical nature: Required
- Awareness/understanding of legal aspects of business, purchasing, ethics: Preferred
- Basic understanding of several types of components/commodities: Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Preferred
- Field of Study: Business, Supply Chain Management: Preferred
- SAP ERP system experience Preferred
- Moderate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and lookup functions) and Microsoft Word: Preferred
- PowerPoint and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems experience: Preferred
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management): Preferred <
