Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Residential and School-Based Services to lead and oversee early intervention services in Title I Pasco County Elementary schools (grades K-5) and manage three residential group care programs for youth aged 10 to 17. This pivotal role involves collaboration with the University of Central Florida, Central Florida Behavioral Network, and contracts with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Florida Network, and local child welfare agencies.


YOUR ROLE

The Senior Director will play a crucial role in leadership, program management, community collaboration, and organizational development. This position demands a high level of adaptability, strategic thinking, and commitment to delivering high-performance outcomes.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Implement and monitor performance measurement tools, including outcome metrics, quality indicators, and benchmarks.
  • Lead serious incident debriefing processes.
  • Foster and maintain a trauma-informed environment, promoting a positive workplace for staff and clients.
  • Monitor recruitment and retention and develop strategies for staff stabilization.
  • Mentor and develop Program Directors to achieve performance objectives and organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with local and state organizations, including DJJ, Florida Network, CFBHN, community-based care partners, public schools, law enforcement, and government agencies.
  • Lead and oversee diverse operational programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and administrative efficiency in Child Welfare and Prevention Services.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and expense management.
  • Contribute to strategic goal development and organizational management.
  • Drive cross-program integration to enhance agency services and impact.
  • Identify and analyze problem areas to improve quality of care.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of therapeutic interventions.
  • Ensure effective and efficient internal systems are in place.
  • Visit primary assignment delivery sites regularly.
