• Salary:   $19/hr + benefits

• Shift hours:  Days, with schedule fluctuations and weekend rotations as warranted by the center

A little more about our center:

Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is a large inner-city skilled nursing (medical) facility.  We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health population.  Many of them were previously homeless.

• We have a 5 Star Quality measure – this means we provide excellent clinical care!
• The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are bi-polar and major depressive disorders.

Job Description

What you will do in this role: 

• We refer to this job as “the Scheduler”, but in other centers it could be titled as a Nurse Scheduler, or a Nursing Staffing Coordinator or Clinical Scheduling Coordinator.

You will be responsible for managing daily work/shift schedules for CNAs and Nurses within our center.   You must have prior clinical scheduling software experience for this role.  You will be working closely with the DON to manage Call-Offs, No Shows and PTO requests to ensure we have ample staff coverage for each shift.  This could entail handling emergencies after hours and on the weekends.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

• * Prior scheduler / nursing staff schedule coordinator experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility is a must  
• * Prior scheduling software experience
• * Electronic medical records experience (Point Click Care or PCC) is helpful
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong Written and verbal English communication skills are required
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
