About the role

Sanitation team members are responsible for the for the cleanliness of the facility. All team members are required to follow all SOP’s, GMP’s, HACCP, Food Safety and Food Defense programs.

 

Schedule:    

Monday – Friday

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Your responsibilities

Able to work with other team members in a professional and productive manner

Communicate any issues, questions, concerns to a supervisor or lead

Titrating chemicals (making sure chemicals are within range for use)

Cleaning within both High and Medium zones

Cleaning brushes/scoops/attachments

Assist in completing housekeeping lists for all areas of the plant

Proper cleaning/emptying of vacuums

Washing pallets

Safe and competent operation of a floor scrubber

Mopping

Cleaning forklifts

Cleaning and refilling Isopropyl wipe containers throughout the facility

Obtain certification for forklift/scissor lift operation if necessary (determined by supervisor)

Strictly adheres to all SOP’s

Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary workplace

Follow all Good Documenting Practices (GDP) and guidelines to ensure accurate information

Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership  

The experience we're looking for

Physical ability to complete job duties

    • Ability to stand for long periods (8-12) hours
    • Lift, push, or pull 50 lbs
    • Working in varying temperature environments
    • Ability to bend, twist and complete repetitive motions

Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, platforms at height

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately

Attention to detail and organization skills

Work collaboratively with a team

    • Willingness to participate in ongoing training or cross training

Time management skills

An aptitude for understanding and adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols.

Forklift certification (if required by supervisor)

Scissor Lift Certification (if required by supervisor)

Floor scrubber training/certification
