Purpose

 

The Senior Manager, Risk Reporting, will be a key part of Enterprise Risk function, which provides day-to-day strategic support to execute the U.S. Risk Management’s mandate and ensure specific goals, plans, and initiatives are achieved. This Senior Manager will be primarily responsible for (1) leading and enhancing the enterprise risk management framework, risk appetite statement / metrics and limits and (2) supporting regular and ad-hoc risk reports to management and board level committees and other regulatory bodies, working with various stakeholders. The Senior Manager will also provide administrative support for business management activities as needed and leverage risk governance expertise to streamline processes.


 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead and oversee the annual and ad-hoc enterprise risk management framework and implementation.

    • Manage the enterprise risk management framework and risk appetite statement including setting appropriate risk tolerances / limits.

    • Assess the effectiveness of the implementation of enterprise risk management framework.

    • Execute inter-connected risk initiatives (e.g., issues management, risk exceptions, committee governance) while ensuring the appropriate governance.

       

  • Support monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc risk reporting for various management and board level committees and regulatory bodies.

    • Agenda setting and tracking

    • Development of presentation materials (including compilation of various risk team’s report submission as well creation of new contents)

    • Meeting minutes drafting

    • Other admin activities such as committee membership attendance tracking, charter update, recordkeeping, etc.

       

  • Deliver comprehensive strategic support to the leadership team, ensuring that compliance with internal frameworks, processes, and procedures is rigorously maintained.

     

  • Identify and execute improvements to risk governance and enterprise risk management practices, optimizing processes to align with evolving regulatory landscape and business objectives.

     

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

     

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
