As a senior designer here, you won’t just make things look good (though you’ll definitely do that too). You’ll own end-to-end design challenges, collaborate deeply with your product and engineering teammates, and guide other like minded designers as a mentor and creative partner. You'll be a big part of shaping how our audience interacts with the Angel experience—whether they’re discovering a new film, buying tickets to an upcoming theatrical release, or building the future of Angel theatrical experiences.

Angel’s Theatrical Team is at the forefront of bringing stories to life on the big screen. We’re the bridge between filmmakers, fans, and theaters—designing tools and experiences that make grassroots distribution possible at a national scale. From empowering fans to reserve tickets in their hometown to launching new promotional giveaways, our mission is to reimagine what theatrical releases can be in the age of community-driven storytelling.
AI plays a growing role in how we scale those experiences. As part of this team, you’ll help ensure these technologies serve our mission while keeping the human element front and center.
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and marketers to shape platforms that support everything from intuitive ticketing flows to user-centric dashboards. Every detail you design will reflect the excellence and heart behind the stories we tell.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead design efforts across web and app experiences—from brainstorm to polish.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver world-class user experiences.
- Help manage and evolve our theatrical ticketing experience.
- Test and innovate with AI to see how we can build the future of Angel.
- Be the theatrical design voice in product conversations, advocating for users and quality.
- Spot and solve design problems before anyone else does (you see the matrix).
- Keep things organized, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects like a pro.
- Share feedback, ideas, inspiration, and maybe even a great meme or two.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to find innovative ways to bring new theatrical titles to the forefront and help drive more ticket sales.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience designing user experiences for consumer-facing products across mobile and web. Experience with connected TV platforms is a strong plus.
- You’re a Figma wizard and know your way around Adobe CC and Google Workspace.
- Someone that has been experimenting with AI and how it applies to new innovative ideas.
- You’re comfortable designing across platforms (web, mobile, streaming, etc.).
- You’re detail-obsessed, self-motivated, and a great communicator.
- You can switch between big-picture thinking and pixel-perfect execution.
- You’re not afraid to give (and receive) honest, constructive feedback.
- Bonus: You’ve got experience in the entertainment industry.
Preferred education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
- 10+ years experience as Sr. UX Designer or similar position.
