What will you be doing?

The Software Engineer Co-Op has a role in planning, building, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting the mobile and web applications for Allurion’s Digital Products team. You are knowledgeable in computer science, mathematics, and engineering concepts. You also collaborate with our Data Engineering team to support internal dashboards and other back-office support tools. The Software Engineering Co-Op will work closely with the Digital Products Agile teams to complete stories in the product backlog.

What we’re looking for in you:

• Love learning new technologies and are not afraid to dive into a project with little or no previous experience with the associated technologies
  
• Have previous experience as a Software Engineering Intern or Co-Op
• Have a background in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Enjoy working with small, remote teams using Agile methodology
• Working towards degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Software Engineering is preferred
• Experience with software engineering, customer experience and healthcare applications preferred
• Basic understanding of software engineering concepts
• Basic experience and a high-level understanding of working with analytics tools (like Excel) and their implications

Hours for this role may be flexible and will be communicated to the selected candidate by the Hiring Manager.
