This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Reception and Medical Center in Health Services.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager by compounding and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs and supplies, ensuring patients get the right medications.
- Help develop and implement pharmacy policies, methods, and procedures to keep the pharmacy running smoothly and efficiently.
- Train pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in the latest techniques for manufacturing, compounding, and dispensing pharmaceutical products.
- Develop and monitor an inventory control system to keep track of all pharmacy drugs and materials, ensuring nothing runs out.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to evaluate and improve pharmacy services, and provide recommendations to the Pharmacy Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in accordance with Florida Statute 465.
- Two (2) years of hospital and/or chemotherapy compounding experience.
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.
