Overview
Scout Motors is seeking a highly capable and results-driven software systems specialist to project-manage, implement, and optimize Scout’s order management and distribution software systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration between commercial ordering platforms, manufacturing systems, and downstream distribution and logistics software. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with strategic project leadership, preferably with an intermediate level understanding of automotive supply chain processes.
What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Lead cross-functional software integration projects focused on order management, manufacturing optimization, and vehicle distribution systems.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the IT, Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Digital teams to ensure systems alignment to deliver business goals.
- Translate business requirements into functional product specifications.
- Manage vendor relationships and software partners to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with Scout standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across order-to-delivery processes, leveraging system capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate system testing, user training, and change management activities to support successful rollouts, and drive troubleshooting efforts following system launches.
- Monitor system performance and user adoption, providing insights and recommendations for enhancements.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 25% of the time. Valid driver's license required. Passport required

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems project management
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and with high user acceptance.
- Proven experience project-managing enterprise software solutions (e.g., SAP, or custom platforms).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and ability to tailor approaches based on project needs.
