Service Innovation & Strategy - Senior BI Analyst (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

A Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d) at MediaMarktSaturn  takes a proactive and influential role - driving value at both operational and strategic levels. 

• Data Analysis: Extraction, cleansing, and analysis of data for identification of trends, patterns, and insights
• Reporting and Dashboards: Design and maintenance of visualizations and reports utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Cooperation with business teams for requirement understanding and provision of actionable recommendations
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking of KPIs, identification of improvement areas, and support for strategic decision-making
• Data Quality Assurance: Assurance of data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across sources
• Operational Management: Independent management of BI-related work streams and projects, management of BI analysts, and coordination of cross-functional teams

Your Profile

• University degree in Data Science, BI & Analytics or similar
• Advanced knowledge of data & analytics processes in a complex corporate set-up
• Several years of relevant practical experience with BI and data analytics tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Google Looker
• Mastery of BI tools, SQL, and advanced data techniques. Experience in emerging technologies like AI/ML is a plus
• Experience with international and cross functional projects
• Certifications in BI Tools & Platforms, Data Engineering, Data Science or similar
• Deep understanding of business operations and the ability to align analytics with strategic objectives
• German and English fluent
• Adaptability/ Flexibility/ Learner Mindset
