Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Support Intuitive’s internal learning management by maintaining training records, building learning plans, scheduling training courses, analyzing training data, and developing and sharing training metrics and reports. Supports management in detailed data analyses, training requirements for new hires and existing employees, and forecasting training needs for the Professional Education & Program Services (PEPS) division.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage, schedule, track, and create training courses, assessments and exams in the LMS.
  • Provide LMS technical support for users within Intuitive’s Operations.
  • Compile and publish reports on training progress and outstanding learning activity signoffs.
  • Collect, analyze, and publish training metrics.
  • Track trainee progress and assess employee skills and cross-training.
  • Manage learning requirements between QIS, CMS, and LMS.
  • Analyze training requirements and perform needs analysis across PEPS to report on gaps in training performance.
  • Collect and analyze data on user engagement, course completion, and other relevant metrics.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from trainees on trainer performance and provide feedback to management.
  • Generate reports and insights to track the effectiveness of courses and the LMS.
  • Build and customize learning plans.
  • Support functionality and quality assurance (Q&A) testing.
  • Upload, organize, and manage course content, including text, multimedia, and assessments.
  • Ensure content is up-to-date and accessible to the appropriate users.
  • Create and manage courses, including setting up course schedules and prerequisites.
  • Coordinate new-hire planning as it relates to Professional Education and Program Services.
  • Recommend process, development, and publishing improvements to PEPS management.
  • Create process flows relevant to LMS logistics.
  • Communicate effectively with users and provide clear instructions.
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and use it to make improvements.
  • Support learners with platform and content issues.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Minimum years of experience:  3-5 years
  • Holds a combination of technical skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing improvement to ensure that the LMS is an effective tool for learning and development within the organization.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive experience with Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with CMS applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and running data summary reports.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage their own time and projects.
  • Minimum High school degree and some collegiate experience, preferably in the field of training and/or data analysis.
