POSITION TITLE:

Sales & Receivables Analyst

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Sales & Receivables Analyst works closely with both the commercial and financial teams to develop new business quotes, build sales forecasts and report on sales performance.  This role is also responsible for maintaining pricing and accounts receivable records.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop new business quotes based on inputs provided by sales, engineering and operations teams. Maintain log reflecting history and status of all quoting activity.
• Build sales revenue forecasts based on demand plans and current/future price assumptions.
• Provide reporting and analysis on sales performance versus prior periods, forecasts and budgets utilizing system reports, dashboards and Excel.
• Maintain pricing in ERP system
• Record customer receipts, resolve payment discrepancies and collaborate with commercial team on collection activities.

Education Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting

Experience Required:

• 2-5 years in an accounting or sales support role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
• JD Edwards or similar ERP system

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel or Power BI user
